I'm trying to rebuild my kernel, and my network card does not come up as an option. The network card is an rtl8139. I have the options for 3COM, AMD Lance, and WD cards, but the RealTek option is grayed out. I enabled TCP/IP networking. The last box I had this card in had a vanilla kernel, so I just used the included module. Am I missing a required option? Is there a way for me to force it to create the module?
