Hello, I am running woody with php4, php4-mysql and php4-cgi. When I run php4-cgi standalone script in the shell, I found it does not support mysql. So I tried to install php4-cgi-mysql, then it returns a dependency problem:
debian:/tmp# apt-get install php4-cgi-mysql Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies: php4-cgi-mysql: Depends: (= 4.0.3pl1-0potato1.1) but it is not going to be installed E: Sorry, broken packages debian:/tmp# Well, the php4-cgi in woody is version 3:4.0.100-1, but why does php4-cgi-mysql in woody depend (= 4.0.3pl1-0potato1.1) , which should be potato version? Is it broken dependency? -- Patrick Hsieh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
