You could try to move away ~/.mozilla and let Mozilla create a new one for you. If that doesn't work, try moving away ~/.mozilla _and_ reinstalling mozilla and mozilla-psm. The latter is the security component. Check if that is what you have installed, and wether it is the correct version.
