Hi Laurant, Give root_fs_debian_x11-3 at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=9513 a try. The problem you describe doesn't seem to occur with this root_fs. The fs was made with make-debian-x11 on an unstable/testing host system. One caveat: There is no documentation included to keep the fs small, so some debconfs which require documentation may fail, but there is an easy work-around. Make-debian-x11 can make root fs with documentation if the user chooses.
