Actually right now I am using the Alsa driver, but I would like to switch to the creative driver. I tried it once before but did not have much luck. In order to use the creative driver ( follow their instructions) do I need to get rid of the ALSA ( or OSS) drivers? It seems that xmms depends on OSS driver. If you could shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it!
