I'm setting up debian (Potato 2.2r3) on a couple of linux boxes. Given that I've done a hefty download on one of them, can I avoid re-downloading it? I presume downloaded debs are stored in /var/cache/apt/archives.... to avoid doing the download again on a new machine, would it be enough to copy what's in /var/cache/apt/archives from one machine to another, or does it involve a change to sources.list?
