Hi Peter,
you try to copy the error message from the linux (without working X) to
windows, right? just mail it. prepare a textfile or take the
/var/log/XFree86.0.log and mail it (e.g. to yourself, so you could
edit it for a posting).
cat problemdescription_text_file | mail -s "problem" [EMAIL PROTECTED]
