Hi, which version of Debian has you installed, because Ive tried with Etch, a daily build from this week, and it is unable to detect the cd rom unit. I tried with an Ubuntu live cd and it works fine. What can be wrong? Did you used some special boot parameters ? Thanks, Sergio
