I have a lot of VHS movies, that I use en teaching, but I would like to transfer them to DVD for easier acces to specific points.
According to the (swedish) homapage for Hauppage, the ImpactVCB - family of Video Capture Boards should be able to accomplish this, and the have links for third-party drivers for Linux.
