I am attempting to create a samba server on a Sarge box using pure Debian. I am looking at the /etc/samba/smb.conf that was set up by the samba package and have a question about a comment in it, namely <quote> # You may wish to use password encryption. Please read ENCRYPTION.txt, # Win95.txt and WinNT.txt in the Samba documentation. Do not enable this </quote>
