I recently moved from sarge to sid, and emacs is giving me some trouble. I had two lines in .emacs
;;(set-background-color "black") ;;(set-foreground-color "white") which I commented after getting [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ emacs Undefined color: "black" [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ it didn't make any difference, so I assume that the settings way for emacs have changed, and that gnome has somewhere stored the default setting which overrides any other in .emacs Is this the case? I am clueless here. I haven't tried much either, hoping that someone knows and can point the problem. Is late.
