The fact that it is a response to your post (to a very public forum) is irrelevant. To your credit, at least it was a polite request and not a demand with implied Legal Attack-Dog Powers(TM). I am afraid that the request is going to generate a much larger trail than if it had been just left alone... [1] Looking at the bigger picture, I would hope (and assume) that this request is denied/ignored by the list managers. Cutting material out of historical archives leaves me with an uneasy feeling at the best of times--very bad precedent.
