Are you actually receiving mail from the Debian mailing list? When I wrote to you directly just now, I got a spam-filtering challenge, which the automatic email forwarder at Debian is unlikely to be able to respond to.
If not, go have a look at http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/ where you will find the archives for debian-user.
