Thanks for your suggestion, Sebastian. I run it just now, however I do not have high hopes as update-devfsd only seem to process the files found in /etc/devfs/devices.d and /etc/devfs/symlinks.d, then force a reload which I would achived with a reboot (for other reasons). /Allan -- Allan Wind P.O.
