Hello, I bought an Asrock Dual-SATA2 and am trying to get sound working on it.
All of my apps run and do not mention any problems, they behave as if I have suddenly become deaf, unable to hear that sound is flowing from my speakers...since I can still hear street noise, I doubt this is the case. hellburner:/var/log# uname -a Linux hellburner 2.6.15-1-amd64-k8 #2 Tue Mar 7 06:53:26 UTC 2006 x86_64 GNU/Linux I'm using "etch" >From the manual it says the onboard audio is "7.1 channels AC'97 Audio" ---- from /var/log/dmesg.0 ----- AC'97 1 does not respond - RESET AC'97 1 access is not valid [0xffffffff], removing mixer.
