wlan in different environments -- one time with static network address, one time with dhcp

Hello,

how do I configure my network (w/o reediting /etc/network/interfaces all 
the time) to work in different network environments:

        environment 1: static IP, static host name
        environment 2: dynamic IP over dhcp
?
