Hi, I would recommend using the script from [1] I'm using them on debian sid now, and they are working quite well. (and has been updated to cover the latest driver version). This script handles downloading, compiling kernelmodule and also configures your system, so after you have run it everything should be OK! (It has to be started from textmode, and if you have X running it will kill it, just a heads up).
