Right now im running 2.4.20 kernel. Was curious if anyone has been able to successfully patch the kernel with the crypto updates to allow encrypted filesystems.
I started to go through this "http://encryptionhowto.sourceforge.net/Encryption-HOWTO.html"; And it doesnt really clearly state which patch to use. ie is crypto 2.2 meant just for the 2.2 kernel series ? and crypto 2.4 meant just for the 2.4 kernel series ? If so, i tried the latest 2.4 one and it failed on many parts when i tried to patch the kernel src directory.
