In order to log all messages you get at boot time, you can edit /etc/default/bootlogd and the option for yes. Everything will go to /var/log/boot. By the way, you can also change, VERBOSE=no for VERBOSE=yes in /etc/default/rcS file to get more information. > What does that mean ?
