When I load my wireless driver, be it ndiswrapper or bcm43xxx, the interface comes up as eth0_rename or wlan0_rename, and I see this in dmesg:
wlan0: ethernet device 00:14:a5:2a:04:28 using NDIS driver: bcmwl5, version: 0x40a2801, NDIS version: 0x501, vendor: '', 14E4:4318.5.conf wlan0: encryption modes supported: WEP; TKIP with WPA, WPA2, WPA2PSK; AES/CCMP with WPA, WPA2, WPA2PSK ndiswrapper: changing interface name from 'wlan0' to 'wlan0_rename' usbcore: registered new interface driver ndiswrapper Anybody know why? It's not too much of a problem, the interface still works, it just looks out of place. Thanks Hans -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
