Yeah, I'd love it if there was something more in the form of a concise HOWTO. If there is one, I haven't found it but would love to be proven wrong. God knows I would package everything I compile on my own and throw up my own private apt-repository until I got confident enough to apply as a DD. Which brings me to a question.
