Hi Digby. There's a multitude of possible fixes for this one. I've had no problems with my Debian, Sarge, Etch, and Lenny installs, all on the same machine, but a Fedora version had shutdown problems on this machine, and appending the kernel line with acpi=force in /boot/grub/grub.conf fixed it. I did see another possible fix in the Debian archives, but will have to look for that. Nigel. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
