Greetings, I had no apparent problems with the
xserver-xorg-core/xnest upgrade from 2:1.1.1-21etch1 >
2:1.1.1-21etch2, but with the latest upgrade to
2:1.1.1-21etch3 I have noted that I am no longer able
to use vlc media player. I got "BadAlloc" error.
I forced a downgrade to the 2:1.1.1-21etch1 (why
wasn't I given an option to downgrade to the etch2? It
isn't shown at all).
Alas, vlc still refuses to run and I get the
"BadAlloc" error.
I haven't noticed any other anomolies besides with
vlc.
How can I get my vlc back?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
