I apologize for entering so abruptly in this thread. I have cupsys and cupsys-bsd (and many many other printing-related packages) installed but I am not able to connect to http://localhost:631(as root). I can see Cups starting at boot-time. What could be the reason? What is the "proper" way of setting cupsd.conf for a home computer with HP printer connected to the computer through USB?
