Hi John

Thanks for your answer. The reason why I’m doing this is that I want to use the
LAMPP approach for a server.

As I understand the way to make Apache use PHP modules and also have PHP to
work with apache is by including some flags and configuration directives before
compilation.

If I’m wrong, then these are good news for me because I would save me all the
work involved. However maybe not that good for a newbie like me because I loose
the chance to learn.

Regards

I fail to see why you are compiling Apache & PHP when there are Debian packages
for both.Oscar Corte wrote:

Hi

I just finished compiling PHP and Apache according to documentation (Finally no
warnings). However, when starting Apache I’m receiving the error: undefined
symbol: _efree

Is this a known issue?

Thanks in advance for any ideas. Please help.

Regards
