I'm trying to install egroupware on my debian (etch) machine. When running the preinstallation check of egroupware an error is displayed for PEAR support stating that pear is not available.
Though I installed pear using apt-get install php-pear. So far there is no specific php5 version for pear. whereis pear gives the following result pear: /usr/bin/pear /etc/pear /usr/X11R6/bin/pear /usr/bin/X11/pear I know that the problem is in most cases the include path is the problem my present include_path settings are .:/usr/share/php:/usr/bin/PEAR:/usr/share/pear btw, I tried the usr/bin setting with pear in small letters as well. I don't know what the problem is. Normally pear should be in /usr/share instead of usr/bin. Any ideas how to go from here. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/problems-with-pear-using-debian-and-php5-tp19476174p19476174.html Sent from the Debian User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
