Hmmm. That's the most recent update to the source tree. Which would mean aptitude doesn't freeze for you. Yay! We solved your problem and we didn't even change any code! :-D .... Did you get any freezes during your test, or did everything work for you? Also, just to check: /usr/bin/aptitude still exhibits the bug, right?
