Hi, I am using Debian/Sid on my Dell Inspiron E1705. After a recent dist-upgrade my laptop screen does not switch on after the I open the lid. It remains blank. I tried adding a custom lid.sh.pre script which does 'vbetool dpms on' if the lid-state is open. But that also didn't help. Is there any other way to fix the issue?
I run linux-2.6.30.1 with kernel modesetting on. xserver pkgs: xserver-xorg-video-intel-2:2.8.0-1 xserver-xorg-1:7.4+3 Thank you Damodharan
