Hotmail does not like Iceweasel. If you send a message, using Lenny or Squeeze, the whole body is empty. The text you entered is missing. You can check this by looking in your "Sent" folder.
I recently found a solution at http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/debian-26/iceweasel-3.0.5-hotmail-not-working-until-changing-general.useragent.extra.firefox-696696/ You need to change the user agent setting in Iceweasel from "Iceweasel" to "Firefox": Just write about:config in the url and then search the name: "general.useragent.extra.firefox" Double click the Iceweasel/#.#.# under Value and change the Iceweasel portion to Firefox. eg mine now reads general.useragent.extra.firefox user set string Firefox/3.0.6 -- Chris. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
