In my opinion this depends greatly on what you are trying to achieve with the VM. I find VirtualBox a great tool for standalone VMs on a desktop. VMWare is more server/service oriented in my opinion. While you can also use VMWare Workstation for standalone desktop VMs, VMWare's strong point is their Server based VM's, like vSphere and ESX server. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.12 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAksQIxgACgkQkPq5zKsAFijBaACeO2Kb2QBoGjY6xUf83ZFqW/aX AYsAnRQXUMEEE86EetttwXeG4hFaGuOU =j+j9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
