Using dvgrab I get the following output: $ dvgrab sss rom1394_0 warning: read failed: 0x0000fffff0000414 error reading config rom directory for node 0 Found AV/C device with GUID 0x080046010448b611 Waiting for DV... <<-------Here it starts playback on the camera but then it just sits there until I ^C... ^C"" 0.00 MiB 0 frames Capture Stopped Error: no DV All my googling seems to tell me that this shouldn't occur with a recent kernel,kino,dvgrab and libraw1394-11.
