Hello, I have installed Debian 3.0 on my Dell Inspiron 5100 laptop and have posted some notes at http://web.utk.edu/~rmahurin/inspiron5100. At this point essentially everything that I could want to use works, though it was something of a struggle, especially the networking hardware.
