i'm on mac osx ssh'd into debian, running screen. some time yesterday i messed something up (i think within screen, but i don't really want to kill it since i've got tons of stuff going on). my problem is that: * i can't use arrows in vi - not really a big deal since jkl; still work * i can't use scroll back / copy+paste in screen - a biggy. i hit ctrl+a [ and it says 'Copy mode - blah' but then the arrow keys don't do anything. then it says 'Must be on a window layer' which is correct if i'm in copy mode.
