Hi list, I am trying to use a friend's machine as distcc daemon, since it has much more CPU power than my poor laptop. However distcc fails to compile stuff on his machine, which I assume is because I am using Debian testing and GCC 4.6, and he is on Debian stable and GCC 4.4 Is there a good way to get GCC 4.6 on his machine, preferably isolated from the rest of the system to be used by distcc only?
