Others already answered your questions regarding your 64-bit architecture. The only thing I'd like to add is PXELINUX is a part of SYSLINUX[0] project. Internet is full of documentation regarding booting and installing Linux using PXE - personally I highly recommend, it's the most flexible and very fast (limited only by your network speed) way of installing Linux, or any other OS for that matter.
