Running squeeze. The display command (ImageMagick) gives the following warning (the app will not open at all):
display: unable to load font `-microsoft-verdana-*-r-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*': Resource temporarily unavailable @ error/xwindow.c/XBestFont/825. xdpf says : Warning: Cannot convert string "-microsoft-verdana-*-r-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontStruct Why are these apps looking for a microsoft font? Google hasn't been helpful in resolving this problem. I am running a recent squeeze netinstall. I do have missfont.log from that install in my home directory. Could be related? How do I resolve this? Any help appreciated. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected] Archive: http://lists.debian.org/[email protected]
