Top o' the mornin' to ya! Looking at his attached log, I see Longwind has a fairly elaborate config, and it gives a suggestion about udev. I was going to ask him for more info and suggest he rename his xorg.conf and try the automagic version to see what happens... Anyway, he sure is impatient!
