"sanity and reason" I tend to be a troll, regarding to some rules, but in this case I'm quiet sure that CC isn't spamming/stalking, but a help. IIRC the OP is on a RPM based distro, so there seems to be a lack of knowledge. I wonder about the "tgz". He might try to install a source, by confusing it with a package.
