Sorry for the delay and thanks for all your help.
I tried every way and could not find a mechanism for a keyboard
shortcut to switch languages.
So............. as I understand........
The installed Hebrew keyboard is a blank keyboard w/o any keyboard
map or bindings.
To achieve the map and bindings for Hebrew - I setxkbmap il and for
Engliish - setkbmap us.
Two launchers on the desktop...DONE.
