Running Gnome in Squeeze. >From the very beginning of the life of this machine (born December, 2011), in Screensaver preferences, I've checked 'Activate screensaver when computer is idle' and placed the slider 'Regard the computer as idle after' at 10 minutes. In Power managment preferences, I have '10 minutes' as the delay for 'Put display to sleep when inactive for:'.
Worked as expected until the day before yesterday. No more screen blanking after 600 seconds. What do you make of that? xset -q shows the Standby, Suspend, and Off values are now set to zero.
