Hello, On a debian wheezy system, I am building upstream kernel using the following command:
fakeroot make-kpkg --revision 3.6.0 --append-to-version -0-amd64 --initrd kernel_image kernel_headers The resulting package is: linux-image-3.6.0-0-amd64+_3.6.0_amd64.deb Notice the '+' character.
