IIRC there are two conditions that can cause this problem : 1) mailgraph hasn't been run and thus hasn't compiled any stats to generate the images from 2) permissions problem on the data As for solving #1, make sure you run mailgraph. Since I have sufficient system resources, I just run the daemon continuously. As for problem #2, maybe the following information will help you identify and solve it. I don't recall exactly what (if anything) I had to do. $ ls -ld /var/lib/mailgraph drwxr-xr-x 3 www-data www-data 4096 2003-08-15 09:37 /var/lib/mailgraph $ ls -lR /var/lib/mailgraph /var/lib/mailgraph: total 92 drwxr-xr-x 2 www-data www-data 4096 2003-08-15 09:37 ,cgi-bin,mailgraph.cgi -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 55188 2003-10-16 11:40 mailgraph.rrd -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 28100 2003-10-16 11:40 mailgraph_virus.rrd /var/lib/mailgraph/,cgi-bin,mailgraph.cgi: total 68 -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 6052 2003-10-15 22:14 mailgraph_0_err.png -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 9250 2003-10-15 22:14 mailgraph_0.png -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 5719 2003-10-15 22:15 mailgraph_1_err.png -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 7512 2003-10-15 22:15 mailgraph_1.png -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 5774 2003-10-15 22:15 mailgraph_2_err.png -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 7860 2003-10-15 22:15 mailgraph_2.png -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 4888 2003-10-15 22:15 mailgraph_3_err.png -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 5213 2003-10-15 22:15 mailgraph_3.png Come to think of it, I may have had to chown those directories and files to www-data:www-data.
