I tried installing that from an iso for accessibility and noticed the boot up sounds are not four different musical notes any longer. There are several of them and hitting q followed by modprobe speakup_soft <enter> followed by espeakup <enter> did not enable any screen reader on the sound card this time. I have a little more to try with this distro before writing it off as a total loss though.
