I have tried to get the floppy image of parted for several weeks from http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted/ but they haven't checked the integrity of parted yet since the break-in of the gnu site was discovered, at least, the software is still unavailable. There are may other pieces that haven't been given the green light yet. It seems that many are ours ( see http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted/bootdisk/partboot-1.4.21.img.back-RSN.README ), or for that matter, a lot of the gnu software has been compromised. We have parted however available in SID (at least). Is the integrity of parted and other being currently checked by other means by debian developers?
