Or you could temporarily add stable to your sources.list. That's not
necessarily considered "jacking [it] up"; I generally keep both stable
and testing in there permanently, and I don't have problems from it. (I
wouldn't advise adding in sid as well, though. Tracking two release
repositories like that seems to work, but every time I've tried three
it's led to something being broken.)

You might want to look into *why* this was removed from jessie,
though...
