Did you think I'd secretly assist you?? :/ On 01/10/14 21:26, Thushara Ranawaka wrote: > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > From: *Thushara Ranawaka* <thusha...@wso2.com <mailto:thusha...@wso2.com>> > Date: Wed, Oct 1, 2014 at 4:54 PM > Subject: Re: Error: failed to fetch from registry: kanso > To: debian-user@lists.debian.org <mailto:debian-user@lists.debian.org> > Cc: Manula Chathurika Thantriwatte <manu...@wso2.com > <mailto:manu...@wso2.com>>, Lakmal Warusawithana <lak...@wso2.com > <mailto:lak...@wso2.com>> > > > Hi, > Kindly reply to this mail thread. > Here are the answers you need: > > *grep '^[^$\|^#\|^\s*\#]' /etc/apt/sources.list{,.d/*}* This is *debian*-users.list You are not running Debian, please post your questions to the appropriate list. Ubuntu is *not* Debian - some of it was, once, but no more - if you are so desperate for assistance consider changing your support request technique (don't top post, plain text, supply information, provide requested logs, learn about spam etc), or change to a distro that works for you. Post this information to a *Ubuntu* list and they should help, consider including the debug log instead of just an error report that refers to it (I asked you as well). Ubuntu uses a version of nm which is too old for what you want to do - if it was Debian (it's not) you'd just pin stable and pull from Wheezy-backports and Jessie. Once you update Ubuntu and install a modern version of nm, then couchdb you'll find those missing registry errors go away. > > /etc/apt/sources.list:deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise >
