Hi, i had the same issue on my laptp installing Wheezy.
Just put the .deb-file with containing .ucode (I assume it should be firmware-iwlwifi 0.44) to root on a second usb drive. Then plug that usb drive to your machine after being asked to load firmware during the installation process. Hope this helps. MC
