You don't have to do anything. Neither apt-get nor aptitude installs a suggested package by default. In fact, apt-get ignores the Suggests field. Depends: and Recommends: are a different matter. Taking one of the fonts you mention in another mail, vemana2000: it is from the fonts-telu-extra package. fonts-telu-extra is a Depends: of fonts-telu. 'apt-cache rdepends' has tuxtype as a dependency. That is how you got vemana2000; unless you installed libreoffice-l10n-te.
