iio-sensor-proxy fills my syslog on debian testing

Hello,

I noticed that my /var/log/syslog is incredibly fast filled with the 
following messages:

iio-sensor-prox[719]: Could not open input accel '/dev/input/event17': 
Operation not permitted


why?
