I occationaly get files with a name beginning with - (minus) on my system. When trying to rename them I get an error that the option does not exist. For example with mv -hello- hello I get an error mv: invalid option -- h Try `mv --help' for more information. Is there a way to do this without resorting to graphical file managers? I tried prepending a \ the the filename but it didn't help.
